Cynthia has worked in Texas real estate since 1996 and has been a licensed broker since 2000. A TREC-approved instructor since 2003, she is the Texas lead instructor for a national real estate school, where she trains instructors and teaches qualifying, SAE and CE courses.
She has taught thousands of future agents in the classroom, including more than 6,000 between 2013 and 2017, and has personally tutored more than 2,500 students for the licensing exam: the national portion for students across the U.S., and both the national and state portions for Texas.
She also teaches CE and GRI designation courses for Texas REALTORS®, serves on its Professional Standards Committee, and holds a Master of Science in Human Relations and Business. Her message to every student: knowledge is power.

A Note from Cynthia
I have taught real estate classes for more than 20 years and count it quite an honor to assist you in preparing for the licensing exam. Each student learns differently, so I begin your session by figuring out how you learn best, which is a large part of preparing to pass the exam.
Many of my students suffer from test anxiety: they know the material, but when they get to the testing center they forget everything they know. I have a very nurturing personality and will review ideas for working through test anxiety.
Studying for the licensing exam can be overwhelming because there is so much information to remember! I will help you put your studying into an organized and concise method (my “suitcase method”) so the information isn’t as difficult to recall.
You will be amazed at how much tutoring for the licensing exam will help you. My favorite phone calls are from students saying, “I passed the test!”
